Prasant Sar directs single-family servicing and REO asset management policy at the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA). In this role, he oversees the servicing and real estate owned asset portfolio practices undertaken by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. This includes oversight over the Government-Sponsored Enterprises’ development and implementation of loss mitigation and property preservation practices and counterparty operational reviews for non-bank servicing transfers. During the pandemic, his servicing team has focused on how to dynamically address servicing management policies in response to unparalleled impacts of COVID-19.
